I'm on the look out for a 996 GT3 MK1, apart from the ones in the classifieds is anyone aware of any others for sale at all? Also the market seems to have plateaued somewhat and the same cars seem to have been on the market for a while, what are people's opinions on value/pricing?

Punishing recession on the way suggests it might be wise to wait until people start to deleverage.

If you are buying because you want a car to drive and enjoy, I'd wait a month or so. The market for these cars can flatten a little in the winter nonths. The market will go up and it will go down, but one thing is for sure - Porsche will never make cars like these again so why not get out and start having fun in one now. You are a long time dead..

I know of a very mint low mileage one. Richard who runs ACL is a true enthusiast and has previously sold a car of mine. I've sat in this car and it's as new!

I viewed a car today which really blew me away in terms of preparation and the condition, planning on making an offer on Monday.

I know what you mean, it's similar to every advert now saying "future classic" or "good investment"

But having looked round this car it's bloody lovely, and you'd think it was new!

It'd have to be a Clubsport for me but I can see the appeal of "normal" chairs.
