2005 997 3.8s with ims work done

Get a 111 in with the deal and you can still get Warranty til 15yrs old if it'll worry you - go big and get a 2yr and peace of mind for a while. If it's had work at an OPC it's likely it won't have been extensively modified to put it out of the criteria (non gen parts etc)

My 997 Gen 1 had an engine re-build as part of the CSR conversion. It certainly didn’t put me off, in fact it was great piece of mind that all the original weaknesses had been fixed.
I agree with the other poster on the comment on bore scoring. For peace of mind, you may want to get a borescope inspection done to see the condition of the cylinders. If the engine was brand new 14k miles ago, it shouldn’t have any marks at all. A number of the Porsche specialists offer this.
best of luck!
