Sad isn't it....chances are it did a decent % of those miles in the first couple of years of ownership. Nine owners though....blimey! I am guessing at least one of them did nothing more than drive it home and back to the dealer again.

I cant believe anyone would dump £125K into this and think everything about the car is genuine, particularly mileage. I bought my 993 C4S in May 2004 with 41K on the clock. I sold in Apr 2005 with 50K on. I know the guy that bought it off me had a fairly big accident in it. Then between Apr 2005 and June 2008 it did 1700 miles (The buyer had to drive 200ish miles after collecting the car from me) then another 3K until 2012 and its been SORN ever since. No doubt waiting to be wheeled out and sold for a 6 figure sum as a pristine much loved example.

I bought my mint, low mileage 993C4S with Turbo S aerokit at Porsche East London in 2005 for £44,000. Kept it a couple of years. Sold it for pretty much the same money. Nice car...but to think about buying that car now for £125,000. No. Just no.

It's when you see things like this you know we are in for a big correction in the markets, not just for cars.

I bought a lovely Mk5 Golf GTi new in 2007.

I used it for work for two years and then sold it in August 2009 with 45,000 miles on. I couple of years later I saw it advertised with 31,000 miles at a VW dealership.

I rang them and asked them if the mileage was genuine. They assured me that it had been through a rigorous inspection process and the mileage was guaranteed.

I told them that they needed to correct their advert as I had owned the car from new and put on 45k before the first MOT and if they checked their own records they could see that it had been into a VW dealer for an oil change at 40k in 2009.

This clocking had been done by someone in order to gain a few grand on a VW. God knows how much clocking goes on if the pay off is high five-figures!

I sold a 993/964 KMH odometer with 125,000KM on it for over £400 on ebay two years ago. Make of that what you will.

Apologies for faulty link, but we got there eventually!

Yep, £125,000.00

Indeed, a correction in the market place will happen, I am sure.
