Has anyone fitted the Autoquest seat angle adjusters to their LWBs and if so how do you find the seat position now?

Very interested in this as I am getting the LWBs in the GT3 and would like a bit more 'recline'....

what would worry me is the extra pressure under the back of the knee if you tilt the whole seat, atm you have a gap, if you then loose that gap you might get pins and needles or at lease pressure on the under part of the leg just behind the knee.

This of course would be height related, so you might have to lower it after it's tilted to avoid that issue.

that's why I have gone folding buckets on my new GT3, sod the looks and you get heating as well, seems a win win for me personally.

The folding buckets in my Spyder sit VERY high. Are they different in GT3?

So, no-one fitted them then? frown I contacted Autoquest and they claim to have sold 30 sets to the UK...

I have them on the LWBS in my GT4, much improved over stock position which I hated, felt far to upright for me especially with a lid on.

They do raise the front of the seat to achieve the angle but I'm fine at 6ft with 31" leg and seat almost fully lowed.... shorter and you'll likely need the seat raised anyway so reducing the angle.

Thanks - who fitted them for you, how much etc?

Had them fitted by Mark at Backdraft Motorsport (BDM), he was fitting a Px 6 point for me anyway so give him a call for price.

Not a difficult job if you're happy with a spanner tbh, good instructions supplied.

Just spoken to Mark at Backdraft - he can supply and fit - he's getting back to me shortly.
