Had a visit to OPC Leeds earlier to discuss a potential Cayman R and have a perv over my dream 7.2RS.

They had a lovely array of GT3s, an RS4.0, a 911 R quite a few 356s and other early lovelies! lick

However, hiding in the back car park, they had a 991 GT2 RS with 15 miles on awaiting fitment of the fire extinguisher before prep and handing over to its (presumably stupidly happy) owner...

Puzzled that someone specs £21k worth of Weissach pack, but not £2k of leather???

Gorgeous though!

PS, that rear wing is fking massive and the front splitter looks like it could cut grass!!!

Thanks for the great pictures! I could very well live without lether in a Weissach car. What I cannot get my head around is the red in the interior. I'd go full black any day of the week

Agreed. Ideally I’d like nothing to distract me when I’m driving - and I suspect that in a GT2RS i’d Need all of my concentration to tame it.

What an incredible car. I would dearly love to own one.

There was one up at Reading last weekend, looked like it was being prepared for delivery. Looked mean as hell. Also had the red interior - very loud.

But yes, I still would!

Can you imagine the frustration of getting one at this time of year. Cup2's, 700bhp and our dirty greasy roads.

It would though be a most excellent problem to have.

Lovely cars and some very lucky owners :-)

I am not bitterly disappointed at all cry Black with black leather would have been my choice, Weissach pack. To those that were lucky enough to bag one, congratulations and enjoy smile

Maybe he wants it for hardcore track work? You don't want leather in a track car. You slide around more and breathability is low. Also leather is heavy.

I thought it only came with part red alcantara interior? I've seen a couple now and they've all had Red Alcantara? which is 'orrible but it's a price I would pay.....first world problems Eh!!!

A £230k car shouldn't have a plastic dash... imo

That's a shockingly spec'd car (not that the owner would care, he has a GT2RS laugh). I wouldn't be bothered about the lack of leather, but that interior and that wheel colour are awful.

Pretty certain that that interior (seats & steering wheel) are standard GT2 RS launch spec colour.

The car looks epic and the interior whilst very loud works with the rest of the car.

During my all-too-often daydreams into my EuroLottoWinnersClub I like to fantasise about all the cars I would own and how I would nonchalantly drift them like Chris Harris ...... and then I read a comment like this and reality hits!

If Steve Rance is saying he would need ALL of his concentration to drive this beast then I have NO chance of taming it! hehe

Still, one can dream eh? thumbup

interior doesn't matter so much imo as the exterior looks like an aftermarket bodykit, insanely aggressive! this isn't supposed to be a pretty car - it's function over beauty

You don't have to have the red alcantara. Can also have black. And there are Exklusiv options.

Mine being built next month.

Lack of leather could be down to weight as the owner said he never specced the LED lights due to them weighing more than the std set up. Not sure any of us would ever notice the weight saving but sure the owner is over the moon with it!

Good to see them finally being delivered.

Would love to see a comparison between a GT2RS and a Mclaren 720S. Surely there must be one forthcoming.
