Hi All,

Just wondering like with the 991.2 GT3 chat to see what kind of specs/colours etc you have gone for with the upcoming GT3 RS.
If anyone is handing their .2 gt3 back to get an RS etc.

Cant wait to see specs and pictures biggrindriving

I think you made the right call. I have a 997 GT3 RS 4.0 and a 991 GT3 RS and for me that covers all bases. Now I am looking for an everyday car and would like an R (or GT3 Touring) but since i want to put mileage on them, I will probably have to wait in order to either find a high (relative) mileage R (as i don't think that the silly asking prices will sustain) or join the queue for the Touring. Wishful thinking maybe but definetely a 3rd world problem.

Yep. My Crayon GT3.2 will be getting sold and getting replaced with a bright green RS. Only thing i'm undecided on is the colour of wheel.

I think over time the gold / lizard will become tideous. I would go with the black satin rims, bud..

not really a fan of black wheels, I added to my Crayon GT3 but feel Crayon needed it. I think green and gold goes quite well, silver could be another option. Like I say, I'm undecided at the mo. Going to Geneva next week and hopefully in the coming months some more pics will come through. My car doesn't lockdown until early April so have time to decide

I agree with that. Have you actually seen the gold rims in the metal? I think the configurator flatters them and they look very gold in reality. You could always paint them black if you don’t like them.

It’s all personal choice in the end and the painted air vents would be too much for me. There’s already a lot of green in there. Seats, belts, stitching, door pulls etc.....

Lizard/black wheels.....Was a close decision with more classic white/silver wheels but ran a white 997 GT2 as daily driver for 3yrs so went Lizard for the change.

Not bothered to wait for Weissach option, the contrast black bonnet is not my cup of tea at all unless the car is black or dark colour. Same applies to 997 GT2RS / 991 GT2RS.

My spec... PKFCEQ99 ...plus WP when available, not sure if to go with Lizard seats though, could change to black later, also could change yellow belts but they match the calipers confused

Any comments please ?

Indeed. I think I was quoted 60-something on the list for the last RS with my OPC and I'd bought 3 cars (one GT3, albeit used) from them. I've kind of given up now on ever owning one of the new GT cars, as I won't pay 'overs'. Not looking for sympathy...honest! It does seem a shame, though, because I always buy a car as my only car. Drive it, enjoy it, lose money on it. That's been my methodology anyway smile

Tony1234.....^^^ that’s going to look quite “busy” with a WP and yellow seat belts plus all the green and black that’s going on. Will still look pretty special in the metal though and I don’t think there are any bad choices except maybe something like lava orange, gold wheels, ceramics and full green interior including the cage.....
