997.2 Window regulators missing in action…
Discussion
My car has been off the road for three weeks now - failed LHS window regulator. Now if you own a 997, you just *know* that the window regulator is going to fail at some point. The surprise is that no OPC has any in stock and they're back-ordered from Germany, with a possible ship date mid-May. Porsche is becoming positively Italian in its service - on top of my local OPC's inability to actually service my car properly, to charge less for doing so that a top-flight surgeon, or even to sell me a new one, the final straw is my superb indie specialist closing down - I'm now seriously considering leaving the Porsche stable altogether, despite how utterly sublime the car is when doesn't require dealer attention.
Immediate issue - anyone know of somewhere with OEM regulators in stock?

I believe the Porsche approved repair of that involves replacement of the original glass with thinner glass. My 997.2 GTS had a similar issue with the passenger side window about a year ago. They actually replaced the glass on both sides. Warranty job luckily. Immediate issue - anyone know of somewhere with OEM regulators in stock?
