Is this a thing now? Not sure if a bizarre stolen to order crime or a random act of vandalism but I came back to my car on Saturday morning to find this :

Any advice on where to get replacements on the internet?

Are they just pushed on / pulled off so I can fit myself? Concern is that some damage had been done to fixings when they were stolen.

And finally..... what tts

A year or two back I got a replacement mirror glass for my Cayenne from here (the old one had stopped heating) :

https://www.driveden.com/

Fitted and worked perfectly.

Google "door mirror thefts"

Seems to be a long-term issue.

yes but that is the whole mirror, nicking just the glass seems very odd (although I am relieved it was)

Are they auto dimming? I vaguely recall the OPC price for these being pretty eye watering, which might make them more of a target.

And all becomes clear :

£345 + vat for drivers side
£273 + vat for passenger side
so £740 - just for the glass

WTAF? Porsche really do take the piss sometimes

Porsche are excellent at this. Had to replace the glass in my 944 and it was a similar price and well before auto dimming was invented

Got a bit off eBay for £7

You have my sympathy OP. I gave up having a nice car parking on the street living in London having had multiple wheel and part thefts. It's a fking nightmare. Moved out of London in 2015 and have been making up for lost time since....
