Porsche Festival Brands Hatch

It would seem to show a RHD car at this event along with the price for WO,if it’s not coming, what would be the point!

Are there not 3 x levels of WP, ie basic, plus titanium cage, then plus mag wheels ??

I've got a feeling (heard rumour) wheels might not be an option for UK

Even if they do bring some over not sure how there get past the WLTP.. but even then More than likely less than first batch.

Glad I took the first batch and am happy it’s sitting on the garage physical, sod the waiting on ‘if’ they bring a WP without the wheels! 12knfor Carbon unpainted bonnet and roof

Bit more than just that:

Tit Cage
GT2 RS Rear Wing
Carbon Roof
Carbon Bonner UP
Seats
Suspension as GT2RS

I thought the 3RS has more downforce than the 2RS, so why would getting the 2RS wing be an advantage (maybe I remember wrong though). Could always just get a Cup wing with Cup uprights, like people did in the past.

Don’t know what the difference is between the 2RS and 3RS wing is but for the 3RS with WP, it just means unpainted and with stickers I think. When you say “seats” you mean the same seats just with some different stitching on the headrest.

It’s good that the car is there as it supports the idea that more cars are coming but the WP at £12k for 6 kilos? That’s a fashion accessory, not the track focused weight saving it was supposed to be. Probably costs Porsche a few hundred euros extra to make a WP car and that’ll be £12k to you, sir. They know their marketing, that’s for sure.....

Edit: actually to be fair the ti cage probably costs a bit but still.....

You've re-kindled my interest in the second batch RS due next year..If all you say turns out true, then the WP on the .3RS will be an absolute bargain and extremely sought after IMO.
I'm keeping all my fingers and toes crossed..

Excuse typos but I could barely see my screen in the bright sunlight and glare of the Guards Red GT3RS with WP

2RS Wing is Carbon but also quite a bit bigger than 3RS Wing, WP=GT2RS Rear Wing I believe!

Unpainted carbon hood just does not work imo - ok for a rear wing or a roof, but not something that has painted sections next to it (esp the arches). Only ok on a black car - certainly not going to feel the couple of kgs weight saving thanks to no paint.

The 6kg probably refers to a US spec weissach car though which can't have the roll cage. The titanium cage should save 12kg on top of the 6kg quoted. And actually 6kg (presumably most coming from cf suspension parts) would be a pretty decent saving on those areas tbh. Not saying all that necessarily is worth £12k though!

Until I saw it today I would have agreed with you. I also thought the WP didn't work, however in reality up close, it looked good. You can never discount lots of exposed carbon! smile

What are you on about seats fella? What the tiny 5 quid stitching in headrests! I don’t need educating on what parts come with it, i gave a brief outline on how they are trying to justify 12k, anyhoo, if they do bring a second batch I’ll be getting one anyway possibly in guards red this time round to match my current GT4, oh did I mention the new GT4 soon to be released I’m also getting hahaha

The lightweight Magnesium Alloys do make quite a difference to the way the cars drive. I drove a 2RS with standard alloys last week with mine back to back. The WP on the 3RS looks great in my opinion. But would 100% put a couple of coats of PPF on the bonnet. Would think it would be very easy to stone chip on track.
