Hi all,

Just looking at some aftermarket pipes to boost the sound a bit. These seem very cheap:

Anyone had any experience of them?

Thanks,
J.

Loads of options for the 997.2 exhaust and giving it a proper 911 soundtrack.

Have a read of some of the following topics:

I had both a Sharkwerks and a Milltek on my 997 GTS and we stock both options. Our facebook page has some vids if you look at ABP Motorsport.

Removing the centre silencer and replacing with a bypass gives a far better note and fits cars with or without the factory PSE.

Do it!

In that case ignore all of the above as its only applicable for the 997.2. Milltek make a nice 'CUP' spec system for the 997.1 which we have sold quite a few of.....

No, it's standard. And a bit quiet as a result

Same here. I decided on a gundo hack. Best £200 I've ever spent and improves the sound immeasurably.

Hi ya - yeah, I've heard mixed reviews of it. Some people complained that it made it sound like a Clio/Civic with a by racer 'zorst!! Others say it drones at motorway speeds. Would you refute those?

thumbs up for a Gundo hack.... no drone at motorway speeds at all... just a great noise when you plant the throttle, or when you go for a cold start.

That's very kind, but I am a little far away.
