My GT3 is coming up to its four year service, so a Major service and brake fluid change is due.

Does anyone know if the spark plugs are mandatory or advisory?

Car has done 10k miles and is under a Porsche warranty.

Thanks

just get it done imo, easier to sell if you have a proper OPC history.

I get mine done every 4 years no question asked.

Spark plugs are in the service book as the scheduled maintenance at 4 years. If you want to maintain your warranty and/or keep up your 'proper' service history then they'll need changing. Same as brake fluid, which is every two years.

Yep... if it’s in the schedule... get it done.
Particularly on that car... you want to make sure there is no wiggle room on the 10year warranty on that engine.

I had my plugs done at three years and will now do it every two years. I understand that Porsche changed the intervals on cars in some other countries to every two years.

Thanks all - I'll get them done.
