991 7-Speed Manual - What's the story?
Discussion
I recall people saying the Carrera 7-speed manual isn't a particulary good gearbox; though I can't really remember the specific critisims. Plus something about is being bastardised from the PDK box of the era.
I quite like the idea of a 991.1 or 991.2, is the manual really that bad?
I recall this being a "thing" when the 991.1 came out, does the 991.2 use the same box?
If it is based upon the PDK box (not sure how exactly) is the clutch and flywheel notably different (and expensive) to the conventional arranangement in say a 997?

Don't bother with the good/bad opinions ... I've found the previous thread .... https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
Still, does the 991.2 use the same manual box as the 991.1? And is it a conventional clutch/flywheel set up?
