Mr JWW 991.2 GT3 Sharkwerks video
Discussion
Those of you who are considering a bypass pipe on your GT3 have a look at Mr JWW's latest video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yJPPYr1BSY
We carried out the install for him earlier this week and whilst i'm no massive fan of these 'digital influencers / vloggers' he's a really nice guy with good knowledge and a genuine infectious passion for supercars.
Have a watch, enjoy the soundtrack and remember we have them in stock here in the UK ;-)

The car sounds great, I know someone who knows JWW and as you say he is apparently a really nice bloke, I just cant stick watching his Youtube stuff for any more than about 20 seconds before I have to skip on and then skip on and then give up....
It's not just him, any of the modern Schmee, Seen through glass, SOL type of Youtubers are all a bit too much look at ME, look at what i've BOUGHT, look what i'm going to BUY, LOOK AT MEEEEEEEE....presenting styles. It seems to work on the numbers they get though.
In contrast I like this guy, well produced content and nice reviews of the cars with a bit of humour thrown in and no bigging himself up,
however his film has 309 views today compared to the 20000 views that JWW has already today.

I seen his face pop-up on Sharkwerks Instagram feed earlier.
I echo the above. Regardless of how these chaps are in real-life, in-front of the camera it's absolutely awful, cringe worthy content, just a load of rollox really.
But that's what the 'kids' are into today - keep churning them out and landing the clicks. A shame it's driven out actual motoring journalism on video.
ChrisABP - I hope you get some business from it.

I’m the same Budflicker, I’m sure JWW and co are nice enough off camera but they’re irritating AF in front of it.
I though it was just me, because JWW has the exact same accent and a similar way of speaking to a mate I mountain bike with who will remain nameless. A lot of the lads call him s
t <insert name> because of how often we're waiting about due to his mechanical ineptitude, punctuality and trail sense.JWW himself seems okay and actually covers stuff that's cool or interesting, it's just the delivery constantly reminds me....
ETA there is a problem for vloggers - Schmee has mentioned it - that everything about these videos has to be amped-up, like a kid on Tizer and Wotsits, in order to capture and retain miniscule attention spans.

Wait for my review of a Ti one.
I've been looking at pretty much every aftermarket exhaust for mine and its a total minefield..I like the lightness of Ti and been looking at Akro's Ti exhaust which is expensive and AFAIK does not comply with road use regs.Another option is IPEs which is better value with a side muffler delete but still retains the OEM PSE valves; trouble is questionable build quality.Ideally i'd want one which will fit onto an RS just in case..Dundon make bold power gains claim but don't seem very popular in the UK..
I think a GT3 with a Ti exhaust coupled with BBS Fi-Rs rims with an Antigravity Li-ion battery will be awesome..

Side muffler delete results in a torque dip at 2-4k rpm. Fine for track cars but frustrating on the road. Ideally i'd want one which will fit onto an RS just in case..Dundon make bold power gains claim but don't seem very popular in the UK..

Can’t see why the material really makes a difference. The steel sharkwerks one is much lighter than the oem silencer anyway.

ks and a lot of over priced stuff with poor welds etc.SW is really over priced imo for steel and build.
it's just a bypass pipe so not much to go wrong,
for battery I would use LITEBLOX batteries
side delete is too noisy.
JCR seem to have the best bypass imo it's ti for a start, he owns a GT3 and is a pro racer.
his past kit is high end for other cars so seems a no brainer to me.

does anyone know the cost of this?
I would also be interested to know what Chris at ABP charges for this bypass and tail pipe.Having watched that vid it doesn’t seem to me that the difference when you’re in the driving seat is that big but very aware an iPad speaker isn’t going to do the best job of showing the difference.

I sure he’ll bee along shortly but I think it’s something like £800.

Keeping the 2 side mufflers keeps the sounds at good levels, the by pass just makes it what it should be, oem it was less sound than my GT4 or Spyder. I did not want an exhaust for the GT3 but feel it needed the by past over my GT4 which imo sounded great. You’re right. The amped up kids tv presenter style is a choice not a requirement. I hate it and can’t watch it.
Reviewbrah on the other hand...I could watch all day.
