2019 991.2 Carrera 4 GTS
Discussion
I have one of these on order and expecting a build in Jan/Feb but no allocations released yet. The 4 GTS with PDK is the only 911 available to order until the 992 apart from Speedster or the remote chance of a 2nd run of GT3RS.
The 2019 car is on Porsche's website, still at 450PS and with 2 GPF's (Gasoline Particulate Filters), one for each bank. So the question is, does anyone know what the exhaust setup is?
It's not clear whether the GPFs go right next to the turbos for rapid warm up followed by the cats (VW design) or whether they are integrated into the cats? It seems they have had to redesign the cats as the room for packaging the full system is very tight so they seem to be shorter with bigger circumference. Will this be the same setup as the 992, not sure they'd bespoke anything for a small handful of EU 991.2 final builds?

My understanding is that OPC's have had their allocation and most of this has been fulfilled. Not sure where your OPC is, but you might want to go asking the question. The 2019 car is on Porsche's website, still at 450PS and with 2 GPF's (Gasoline Particulate Filters), one for each bank. I have an "allocation" which is shown as Jan build, Feb delivery at PCGB but the dealer seems to be having problems... Fingers crossed
I was informed by my local OPC in April that I would only be able to put a deposit down for a 4WD GTS because of the EUROPEAN model issues. I have now received confirmation that my Carrera 4 GTS will be built in November for delivery in December. I wanted graphite blue but this has been deleted so gt silver it is. I was told that not many will be built and may have already been allocated.
