Been talking to a dealer about this scud I’ve got my eye on.

Whilst Pistonheads adverts have now shot up from sub 100 to 120+ for the 996GT2 I’m getting zero bids for mine.

So to try and cut through the endless BS that is asking price, does anyone have firm figures of price paid for any GT2 sales this past six months? Where are the values for these cars?

I love mine for what it is and what it does and drive it regularly accordingly, every trip a wonderful occasion. But it gets a little frustrating when I think of a change having absolutely no clue what it’s worth. Interestingly this year my insurance company has had no problem writing up an agreed value of 130k.

Cheers!

extremely narrow market , you need a buyer willing to buy the car - if not it doesnt matter if you advertise it for 90 og 70, the buyer just isnt there.

Thanks for the replies, in fact one of the specialists has been pretty helpful to give me an idea of market right now. Low 100s for my car which seems reasonable but with fears about Brexit and winter months coming up, the market is a bit flat

I think it's time once again to enjoy the car for another year and take a look in the spring.

I assume the independents listed above are only offering to market your GT2 on a SOR basis? If so then it still doesn’t really tell you what a willing buyer is prepared to pay in this tricky market.
