991.2 GT Car UK Numbers
Discussion
Just had a look at how many left...GT3 Numbers seem a bit punchy!
GT2 RS - 120 cars
GT3 RS - 123 cars
GT3 PDK - 254 cars ( 88 in 2017 and 166 in 2018)
GT3 Manual - 387 cars (193 in 2017 and 194 in 2018)
The GT2 RS and GT3 RS Numbers are in line with what people thought the GT3 Numbers clearly aren’t and seem very punchy. Although more I do remember people saying their OPC got 15 cars which averaged across the OPC network would put total UK cars close to that number of 641. If that number is true it’s 50% more than I have seen guesstimated!
As for the split of Manual and PDK I just don’t think that’s right, given PDK was the only option on early cars I can’t believe there were twice as many

I find 'How many left' extremely difficult to decipher..GT2 RS - 120 cars

Agree it’s not great.Once you’ve selected a model theres a new registrations tab for each model...if you just look at the main number you get the noise of cars being SORN’d etc
Those numbers are the New Registration Numbers.

I know all that and the New registrations seem accurate for all cars i've checked including 991.1GT3,991.1/2RS,GT4,Spyder and various Ferraris,Astons and Lambos..The figures for the 991.2GT3 are either a shock or there is an anomaly i'm unaware of.Once you’ve selected a model theres a new registrations tab for each model...if you just look at the main number you get the noise of cars being SORN’d etc

One possibility is the PDK and Manuals are mixed up but doesn't alter the fact that there are 641 in total..

The DVLA almost certainly would have mixed up some dual clutch cars under the generic 'gt3' line rather than 'gt3 s-a'. Part of it isn't necessarily their fault either as it's dependent on how the dealer enters the data as well. The split may well be incorrect but overall the combined new reg numbers should give a good indication of the numbers delivered anyway. GT2 RS - 120 cars

Looking at the 3rs numbers they will either end up being quite a rare beast or we definitely have another run turning up at some point to balance the numbers.
Porsche are clearly cashing in on demand, didn’t someone mention Porsche UK decided to opt out of PTS to increase build numbers of the GT3 this time around?

Are we saying that no matter how you look at the above figures that there are 641 991.2 GT3 units already delivered in the U.K. so far, with a few more still to come?
That’s way more than i thought was out there, agree with above if that’s true there is actually surprisingly few being flipped.

the T model will be in with those also. but it's not right as the 1st 180 odd cars were all PDK in 2017 model year, 88 cannot be right.GT2 RS - 120 cars

if you look at engine size for 2017 it's 177, the figures are all over the place.
but yes I kept saying OPC are getting 15 cars and being told to shut up :-( and prove it, so 2 fingers upto those people !! :-)
Not really surprised tbh. I think it'd be naive to think Porsche won't increase production numbers or adjust UK allocations when there's the demand. I'm sure I read somewhere in an interview when talking about GT4 production that even AP/Porsche never anticipated the demand for it (UK). It was probably too late at the time to quickly build another 1000 cars (GT4) but this will all be considered when estimating future builds of new models.
I'd of guessed the final build for 991.2 GT3 would of been around 500 give or take a few - this was based on early (late-2017) info from my OPC (Sytner - 6 dealerships) but thinking about it, more cars did keep turning up as 'extras', so if you have 35 OPCs with an extra 3or4 cars you can see how we get to nearly 700 in the UK. It's a lot of cars of this type for what is still a small market.
It's quite obvious the next GT4/3/2 will be built in larger numbers again.

The first 180 2017 cars were a mix of Manuals and PDKs as my OPC were handing out Manual GT3s in October 17..I've said all along that there are more GT3s than we were told, and i have seen over 15 cars at my OPC and there's no way i saw all of them.if you look at engine size for 2017 it's 177, the figures are all over the place.

These figures explain why so many GT3s were sold and in fact most are still with their original owners. The same goes for the Carrera T in which we were duped into thinking it was a limited run out model when in fact there are now 30 for sale on the OPC website.

I’m afraid you are incorrect 911T, those numbers are 991.2 gt3 only and do not include the new 991 T. if you look at engine size for 2017 it's 177, the figures are all over the place.

To date there are already 163 991 T showing on how many left as they have there own category. I assume this will also increase owhen how many left is updated.
I got the impression from my OPC that the 991 t want that popular? Be shocked if they sold 30 cars?
