I’ve just sold my 991 GTS and am now looking for a manual 991.2 GT3. I much prefer buying cars privately to avoid paying the Porsche dealership tax. There are currently very few private cars for sale - do all these cars go back to dealers for sale? I can only assume by going back to a dealer it helps people become a preferred customer by their OPC as they make a decent mark up on each one.

If you’re thinking of selling, please let me know!

Good luck with the hunt they’re fantastic, especially with the proper gearbox! Reality is most people that buy cars at this price point use finance which is why the private sellers are so rare. Although i doubt dealers are keen to stock cars at the moment so good luck!

As per my other thread very few for sale.

And yes private does really mean handing back if you want another GT car in the future.

The Only private sellers are the ones switching brands ie flippers or money makers.
And you would tend to find private sellers cars would be the same price as OPC ones, why would they not be ?
Spec is key, supply is low, very few 3rd party dealers have one and JZM sold their 2 in 1 week.

You should have part ex your car for a OPC GT3 imo

I would snap up the Blue OPC car, it's the best one for sale atm imo. well bar it being blue ;-)

I like the blue one too....but it’s blue. Such a shame. It’s a great spec too

its a shame that you don't want Blue and non PDK. mine is sat in the garage with 1200 miles on it and I'm considering handing it back to sheffield or leeds OPC on SOR.

My old manual white GT3 is at Sheffield OPC. great spec and i suspect they'd take £145k for it

Same as my spec exactly, providing it's PDK..

Yes its PDK and love it.

Had it on my old 987 Spyder and only sold the 981 Spyder because of the box, it was a
great car.

Change of plan ? Are you the guy who traded the white GT3 back for the blue one as you were going to put to many miles on the white one?

The white one with 7k miles has just had its price dropped by another few £k. I reckon the market will become much softer over the next few months. Can’t wait to get one in my garage!

The red one at OPC Kendal has just been traded back by its first owner who I think bought it there as I have a tenuous link to the owner.

Seems a nice spec and reasonably priced for the time of year.

Apprantly the Kendal car was bought back for list price. I’m surprised the prices of these have softened so much in the last few months.

I was offered a Carmine red highly specced manual car today for 157k from an OPC which now seems way overpriced. £145 now seems much more reasonable.

Check one of the other threads there’s someone saying a dealer has a manual club sport with all the bits at 128k Lol
