Not that I can see? In OPC manuals range from £147-£168k for a manual
£149-£165k for a auto
But the cheapest manual has 7k miles, with the cheapest auto at 1200 miles

Although with the fuss over the manual box before release, I was expecting them to be a lot more expensive...

I thought he ment there was a manual GT3 going cheap for sale.

There is an auto going £8k cheaper than anything else for sale , as far as other pricing they seem on par with each other.
ie very close, if anything spec for spec the manuals are about £2k more like for like. but pickings seem few and far between for higher spec examples, you cannot buy a Manual with Buckets, PCCB, lift and LEDS as an example at an OPC..

So the OP post seems misleading and I wonder what the point of it was.

Most PH cars are listed as Manuals are in fact Auto's.

Apparently the Touring is in so much demand its taken the allure off the Manual winged GT3 according to my OPC. The PDK winged GT3s are easier to shift although even these aren't exactly flying out of the showroom.
It looks as only the Touring is in hot demand which is reflected in the rather obscene premium it commands over the winged cars. The trouble is they built a lot of winged GT3s in both Manual and PDK variants but the Touring flew under the radar.
In retrospect i'd have ticked the Touring box when speccing mine as i'm sure a lot of others would have done if they were being truthful..However if that had been the case there would have been a lot more about which would have depressed values,
Like everything else in life you just have to do the opposite to everybody else..

I expected the same but its been the opposite effect so far to a small degree I guess down to the PDK car being faster and the GT3 touring being manual only.

You mean you would have speced it due to values ? As it did not fly under the radar, just very few people wanted it !

That's not correct. It literally wasn't available to many who would have specced in Round One.

That's only the 1st 150 odd cars from 600.

Every one is so defensive, over just stating the facts of the matter.
hence I have stopped posting the last few days, the forums pretty stty with values and the like.

I just thought this was another odd post which is yet again is fake news.

As i had an early allocation and needed to be locked in August 2017 the Touring IIRC was only a rumour at the time. It was only announced well after my lockdown..I mentioned to my OPC about the Touring but on balance decided it was to much of a gamble to give up my first round allocation for something which wasn't official at the time.

Cheapest is now £139k on PH. They'll be at list soon lol smile

Would love a Touring simply for the 'fly under the radar' spec. I'll have one at 150k so not too long to wait lol wink

By that time you will be hoping you have an allocation for a 992 GT3 phonesmile. smile

Christ I would, it would be a car for life! I think thats why people are loving the Touring. My winged GT3 is a weekend toy. A Touring I would use every day.
Amazing the difference a wing makes to some people.

Lol, I'll be getting sod all as the last 2 cars have been recent but used and from 2 different OPC's, Newcastle and Silverstone.
I'm hoping for a new Spyder, thats about my level now I think...

I keep thinking of buying a Cayenne Turbo but Porsche won't let me order one! That might secure me a GT3?!

I had a late allocation and went wing....if this is going to be my only GT3 I wanted the full on wing/CS car....and I also wanted a distinctive /loud colour I wouldn’t order on a normal 911. I still think the Touring is a bit of a curates egg....it’s the ideal stealth daily driver and most people would rather have PDK for a daily. If I’d already one’d a GT3 or had an RS in the garage then I may well have gone Touring. The only person I have met who has a Touring has a serious Porsche collection and went for it because it was something different.

I can understand this… I’d be happy to have a touring as my one car to do it all, but actually in and ideal world I’ve love to have the touring as my daily, and one or two track days and then I’d keep my GT4 as my full fat track day toy tweaked to within an inch of its life, or try to get a hold of a Clubsport race car.… but then i need more cars as I need a trailer and something that can tow. Lol. I dunno.

I don't understand, why is a winged GT3 a weekend toy and a Touring a daily? Surely a winged GT3 with 18 way seats and PDK is a better daily than a Touring with a manual?

Or are the aesthetics of a winged GT3 too much for the office car park/school run etc?

I suppose it depends on ho much you care about what people think.
I love the wing and a love a manual and i really don't like PDK on the road, its just too uninvolving for me.

The touring just ticks more boxes and tries less hard. Its my perfect car basically with folding sport buckets and steel brakes...

the newer cars are far more hardcore imo, not really daily drivers + much more cabin noise and CUP 2's and qute stiff sprung.

4WD GTS or a Turbo S is a great daily, GT cars while you can use them it's not that nice.

So imo either GT3 model T or other wise is a pretty st daily run about.

I only use my cars more as I work from home, but still have a Golf to do the daily crap although a Turbo S would be my choice if I had the funds.
