The car is not yet launched so no-one has one on order yet as they can't configure one!

But quite a few, me included have paid a 5k Dippa, and have known about the Basic Specs for a long time. As soon as the Configure goes live, we will be locking in Spec and expect to see Bums in seats around end of Q1 next year.

Mine will be C2s, in Black, Black, and will be tracked a lot next year.

Yes I have a first batch car also, however all the issues I’m having with the PCM in the new Cayenne are putting me really off the idea...

Let’s hope P sort themselves out and their current PCM and tracker issues...

Aha that’s what I thought since there is lots of noise around the new car. I assumed some have pre specced ahead of a lock down date on final spec.

There were plenty 991 exclusive options stacked all over the place so I guess you could have a very good deal on a 991 !

It’s on the configurator and in C4S trim I got a price pre tax etc of just under 113k adding in roof etc etc . The ‘old’ c4s gts is only 5k more to start but comes with a lot more equipment I tried to spec it comparatively vs the new c4s and it was low 112k pre tax. Similar power in Bhp terms no such gm of torque yet. At present I’d opt for the gts gen 2 991 over a new 992 c4s . On first look it seems more of an upgrade tech heavy from user interface stance but I struggle to use all of the prior pcm capacity. Colour options have changed also. I can only imagine how much the 992 gts will be when it comes 2 years from now .
Well I don’t know I think we need to wait and see

The 992 is not a great looker from the back but the front I think could be v pretty adding some of the more angular features of a 993

In terms of value would say it’s a close call a new gen 992 S is similar power to a 991 GTS so I honestly fail to see that many opting for the 991 gen new right now however proof will ofc be how they drive and unless the 991 is significantly better which knowing Porsche is unlikely the 992 is decent value

I def don’t like the new interior though seems too bling always liked the understated interiors of 911s over say panameras

New 992 is bound to be faster than the 991 GTS given the old 991 C2S was faster than 997 GTS.

New gearbox with more speeds and no doubt faster changes.

A 991 TT at 120 ish is tempting vs a well spec'd 992 given depreciation and hence overall cost of ownership.

120,000 pounds in Germany Porsche configuration is showing with basically 12k ish of options.

An expensive car that Carrera s ! Probably a 991tt is a better buy !
