Great brief little read comparing .2GT3, .2GT3-RS, & 2RS around anglesey..... made my day the .2GT3-RS coming out on top! But we knew the 2RS needs a longer circuit

After reading that article the main conclusion i got was the huge difference the new R spec tyres gained on lap times..It seems to gain nearly two seconds on a short 1.5 mile Anglesea track..Extrapolate that difference to the 'Ring time and it translates to nearly 12 seconds.Its a pity you can't get them in the GT3's sizes to get a fair comparison.
The GT2 RS was only 1.2 secs quicker than the 991.2GT3 PDK on the same spec tyres.!

Was .2 faster than the Pista on the same tyres , R ......yes sadly Cup 2 times only on damp track ...

Enjoyed the article but not entirely surprised at the result. Of course Dickie Meaden enjoyed the 3RS more.... On track. With those tyres it would have been awesome. Had he also included a road comparison I suspect he would have chosen the manual GT3. Interesting nonetheless and what always strikes me is the lap times they get from the GT cars, matching or beating more powerful competitors

Seems the R tyres only have 120 fast miles in them and double the price.

So just for track day winners and ring times.

Expensive play things to get times, scary if any real people would buy them.

P Service department would have a haemorrhage trying to source the R tyre... they can just about manage to sort my E3 Cayenne PCM keep going crazy! Think I’ll buy a set for the first Trackday for my .2RS
