997 gt3 gen 1 - anyone know why only single beep from alarm?

been using trickle charger over winter
alarm does not now double beep to lock/alarm car, only a single one.
Manual locking by key only locks driver door and not passenger one.

Maybe depends on the number of doors open? My 991 will do single beep for bonnet (only) open. Maybe glovebox open too.

Is your car standard? I don’t get any chirps on my 7.1 GT3 when locking, just the sound of the doors locking. However, if I lock the doors with the remote and a door is slightly open, then I will get a single loud chirp.
