I find the PCCBs on my 991 GT2RS and previous GT3RS very noisy on the road and not that responsive unless they're really hot. Meanwhile my 991.2 Carrera T with PCCB's stops a lot better on the road.

Is it the pads? Can I swap them for a more road biased compound? Or are the discs different? The discs seem to be the same size.

Odd mine make no noise and seem very responsive even from cold.

Shouldnt be. Could be a bedding issue. How did you bed them in? Are you very light on your brakes?

I have the same brakes on a GT4 ... I found after a track day that the brakes felt a little squeaky and felt imprecise ... a jet-wash later and the brakes wee much improved.

However, these brakes can run very hot on track and can consume pad material rather quickly ... I was advised that it is important to replace the pads when half worn in order to be able to control heat transfer into the hydraulic fluid ... and keep the laminated discs as cool as possible.
