Out of interest how many people on here own or know of a PTS 997.2 gt3 car?

Most seem to be red, white, black or grey.

I don’t know who owns them but there’s certainly a Mint Green, Riviera Blue (currently listed on PH), Mexico Blue and a Grey Black that I’ve seen.....so I am sure there are a few more around. The only one that I can recall being for sale in the last few years is the Riviera Blue one currently for sale. Mint Green one looks superb in the metal...saw it at the last Bicester Sunday Scramble.

Are you about to buy one ?!

I own one of those Riviera Blue ones ( supposedly there were 3 in that colour although the original Press car was also RB ) and also know the individual who owns the 3rd one.
I think total production of the model year was 130 cars.

So that would make it the following

X3 Riviera blue cars (poss one more if the one
currently for sale isn’t the press car)
X1 Grey/Black car
X1 Mint Green

Does anyone know of anymore?

Thank you, didn’t the press car have a reg which read some along the lines of 911 GB?

When you say total production do you mean only 130 997.2 gt3.may have been produced in 2010 and 2011?

Rob , sorry I wasn’t clear - 130 was the total allocation for GB in MY10 ( August 09- 10) - at least according to the email from PCGB.
The RB press car did wear those plates and I seem to recall when Porsche sold it it had serious miles on it then.

Looked at the Mint Green car when it was for sale a few years back at Solihull and was very tempted it certainly stood out from the crowd.

Really does work so well on the 997.2 GT3 for some reason.

I think the mint green car is my favourite ever - I told the owner a couple of years ago it was an inspired colour choice

I had a grey black RS with gold wheels and decals, best car I've owned.

I own a Riviera CS. I was told it was one of 2 Riviera Clubsports - is there a comfort car or are all 3 Clubsports & I was mis-informed?

Driftworks’ owner got one. Plus yours and nxi20’s, plus the one currently on sale. Plus the press car? Five?

Unless one of them IS the former press car and I’ve double-counted. Or the one currently on sale is Driftworks’ car..... confused

In the thread I linked to above it diccusses the press car that is up for sale at that time in 2013. At that time it had 17k miles....which would rule out the one that is currently for sale being the press car!

If ithe car for sale is the drifts works car it has been modified previously. If so I wouldn’t feel comfortable parting with that sort of cash for it.

Maybe the owner may pop along to confirm.

If it’s not the drift works car there may be more than 4 riviera blue cars in the UK.

GT4 - If/allegedly/possibly/ all derogatory terms if describing the current advertised Riviera 997.2 GT3 to a different car that has allegedly questionable history. Maybe I could suggest 'google is your friend'. Takes just 2 seconds to confirm what's crystal clear and obviously very different Riviera GT3's exist.

I owned the one for sale and can say with cast iron authority, it's a tick box car : 100% factory original, out the box concours/as new and also posseses wonderful unique spec inc C/S, carbon overload & special request trim etc
Over Rev perfect, OPC service/warranty etc. If you want a PTS GT3 and dig Riviera, there ain't a better one out there

Hi Alscar - hope your well. When owning mine and digging around regarding how many RB cars were made. I concluded 4 total. Yours, mine, press car and the other mentioned. Not sure on comfort or clubby though.
