Who do you recommend for the best sale or return experience for a high-value GTS (991.2) Not Henry as I have already spoken with him and the car is too new.

Your stories and experiences are welcome... :-)

Try Harbour cars for outright buy, I sold my Boxster GTS to them. Great bid, and smoothly done.

Sold my 996T through RPM Technic in less than a week, and they've recently sold a Carrera GT which was likley to have been SOR I would have thought. They have some lovely stuff in at the moment.

Be careful with SOR, especially on a high value motor. If the seller goes pop between selling your car and paying you then it will be a PITA.

Phone Amari at Amari supercars, does what he says and that’s rare in the car industry.

Seconded. The best independent out there for Porsche SOR. Cars are realistically priced and they have a large customer pool. Plus, they're established.

Mike Lee at marque1 sold my 991.2 GT3 in a matter of days and took a very modest fee; he has always been great to deal with and specialises in Porsche

+1, Marque1 sold a car for me last year, would be happy to go with them again.

There are definitely some big names to avoid as well - do a little research before going SoR!

You should do your homework, as there’s some horror stories about sellers not being paid over on 911UK.

Easy, Alastair Bols.

Excellent experiences selling both McLaren and Porsche.

He’s reassuringly picky about what cars he takes on but he puts the work in especially with his photography.

Why not ask your OPC to sell on your behalf? If you want to sell fast maybe just stick it in topcar auction at Blackbushe? I'd imagine a high spec GTS very desirable.

For SOR JZM a good shout and I've always heard good reviews of A Bols. Personally I'd go for JZM out of the names mentioned as a marque specialist.

I have sold a number of high value cars through Top555 on SOR and outright sale. The last SOR was sold with a mater of hours of going on sale and they returned me £16k more than my local OPC and that was on a part-exchange against a new car!

Never dealt with them but Romans seem to stock and shift cars like this pretty quickly.

Be careful, many will overprice just to fill the showroom floor
