Considering going topless

After 18 months in my 991.1 Carrera GTS i've been considering a change and I'm thinking about a Targa.
It will either be a move sideways into a Targa 991.1 GTS or the 991.2 equivalent.

A quick scan has found the following two possibilities (and yes I do have a thing about colours )

I'd be interested in any thoughts from those who have moved into a Targa (or even moved from one)

I moved to a Targa 4 GTS last August from a GT3 Touring (wonderful car, but didn’t work for me as a daily). I had a 991.1 GTS before that.

I really like the Targa - it’s very fast - I find a noticeable difference in power and power delivery between the 991.1 and the 991.2 engine. It actually feels quicker than the GT3 Touring. OK, the sound isn’t quite as good (no-where near as good as the Touring) but I personally find the sound perfectly good.

Mine has PDCC and I find the ride perfect for me - certainly a bit softer than the 991.1 GTS which had 10mm sports suspension. It has RWS so feels agile and I really don’t notice the extra weight.

It’s a lovely car and a good compromise between a full open top.

Probably the best 911 I’ve owned.
