Anglesey Porsche Owners Club
Discussion
Molly and I have recently reurned from a weekend with the Porsche Owners Club which started off on the Saturday at the Anglesey Race Circuit. What a brilliant day it turned out to be. Great group of Porsche Fans were in attendance with superb relaxed organisation by the circuit staff. We both had some tuition, a few sighting laps then we were off. I firmly believe that until you take your car on a track you simply cannot appreciate what amazing machines they are. We took it in turns going out followed by a bit of cooling off , that was us not the car. During the day our confidence and speed increased, braking points became later and later, cornering speed became faster and faster all of which our RS just shrugged off whilst consuming fuel at an alarming rate. I'm sure the three of us enjoyed one of our best days ever.
On the Sunday a huge group of Porsches lined up on the prom at Llandudno; I think there were in excess of 800 in attendance. We were so proud of our Lizard Green GT3RS. The atmosphere was great , the Sun shone and there were so many happy smiling people.
Many thanks to the owners club for a wonderful weekend.

A great weekend indeed! This event is always a jewel in the crown, this year was probably one of the best yet.
You were going well on track, Rob, especially for a first time at the venue. I had a word with Chris W over lunch and he remarked that of the two lizards present, one was going quickly, the other not as quick. One of our group was in the slower car, also his first ever track day, but his smile said it all !
