Hello chaps

I'm looking to get someone to have a look at my 991.1 GT3s brakes with a view to either replacing or uprating pads, disks and lines (feels spongey at the moment with a considerable amount of fade) and then check out alignment, geo etc.

I have approached RPM Technik as they're a PFC stockist and I'd heard good things about their disk upgrades for my car, but not sure if thats the right route...surprised at how quickly the stock steel brakes on my car start to give up, even with just fast road use.

Does anyone have a recommendation for an independent specialist that I could use? Ideally South East but I'd travel for someone that was trustworthy and knowledgable (god knows I am not).

Cheers!

Follow through with RPM is my advice. Very technical bunch in the factory

You don’t say where you are based but JZ Machtech at Kings Langley are a very experienced and well respected Indy close to London. They have a lot of experience dealing with track based GT3’s and brake upgrades and geo set ups. I have used them myself and very happy with the service.

9e sorted my soft brake pedal which seemed to be beyond Reading's ability (twice). Also made some subtle but pleasing geo tweaks

I have always used Porchetech. Steve Santos is the person to ask for.

Really good and thorough service at reasonable rates.

Cheers all. I'll continue with RPM and follow up elsewhere if things seem prohibitively expensive smile

only option I would buy, pair that with 2500 for road or 1.11 or endless for track.

I ended up taking the car into JZM. Steve was super helpful, disks look okay and pad wear seems fine. Car is booked in for a more detailed inspection and a fluid/braided line change
