If so, how do you validate the engine hours? I've been offered one which I'm considering buying but need to validate its had 7 hours use since rebuild.
I know there's the usual route of a leak down test etc but I'd prefer to also validate the hours. There's no invoices as it was done by the race team that currently owns it.

Contact Matt @ Fearnsport.

He will definitely be able to help you with all of this.

Cal Paul at Parr. He runs my Cup car and has run more cars than anyone else in the UK. Which car are you looking at?

IIRC, yes, it's either logged in the Bosch M/Sport engine ECU or it's logged in the OE '7 Cup Motec dash.

By coincidence i bumped into Paul and spoke to him on Friday, he said you need the bosch super user code to reset it. Tough to get hold of but can be done so be careful.
I know Matt as he did lots of work on a few cars I've had. I'll call him Monday. Thank you!

Paul said it's logged in two places. Bosch log needs code to change, motec dash can't be adjusted but dash can be swapped out.

Are you planning on racing the car or just attending track days?
