fit the ones I have literally just purchased for my 991.1 GTS. My car is being PPF'd at the moment. I had purchased the full set of Zunsport grills to install , but in reading up the many pages devoted to this topic and all that comes with it (Warranty, fitting, potential scratches, removal headaches..) I have bottled it. I wasn't even sure they would fit over the PPF! I am in no way doubting the product itself, it's just that the pro's v the con's don't work for me personally, based on my 2 hours of reading about them this morning (a little late I know)

Before I go down the ebay route to flog them (un-opened), please PM me if interested in a deal.

thanks

Does anyone have experience of removing them?
Is it problematic?

It's easy enough to do, you just prize open the clips with a screwdriver. There are different types, but some clips have teeth and they bite into the bumper plastic. They weren't designed for regular removal, in fact they weren't designed for removal and refitting at all IMHO.

I don't see the issue I think you're overthinking it
You use painters tape on the bumper when you put them on and take them off - only where the clips are
You bend the arms out slightly so they grip the bumper
When you remove them, you put the painters tape on the bumper again and use a pair of needle nose pliars to slightly flex the grille and remove it
I put them on & took them off 4 porsches no problems no scratches
It's a right pain to have to replace all the rads when they rot. Terrible design from Porsche.

Like I say, there are different clips. On my 981 GTS the clips are small with sharp teeth like a kid would draw in a dinosaur's mouth. No way painters tape is going stop them biting into your bumper!

I'd have a sensible word with your dealer and get them to agree with fitting the grills and keeping the warranty. I got our local service guy to contact Porsche and they have agreed (in writing by email) that the grills do not affect the Porsche extended warranty. It does seem to be down to whether the dealer can be bothered or not. Mine look good and MUCH cheaper than replacing rads with stone damage!!

...and I have in writing from PGB that my Zunsport grilles void my extended warranty, and from my OPC saying they were wrong to have extended it with grilles fitted.

Could you publish the OK you have please?

Thanks for the replies. It's this uncertainty that is the issue. I'd rather not chance it. My car is going into an OPC for a service in Aug, so if I still have them then, I will of course ask them.
