I expect the gt3 to be noisy ,road noise ,engine noise etc but on anything other than smooth roads there are so many rattles (dashboard, doortrims, speakers )
Is this normal ? The gt4 didn’t rattle like this ,nor any car I’ve spent decent money on .
It wasn’t an issue at first but as the mileage has gone up it is starting to really irritate .

Mine (991.2) has a dash rattle which is really annoying. More of a buzz as you get up over 5000 rpm. My old 991.1 GT3 had a rattle in the B pillar driver side behind the seadbelt D ring and a door rattle near the opening lever and i think that one is also in the 991.2. I read alot of feedback from owners of 991 GT3 with interior rattles. Its really annoying Porsche havent sported this out. My 991.2 Carrera has a dash rattle (same place as my GT3 sounds like near the passenger airbag on dash) from the day it left the dealer. I dont want them to make life worse fixing it so i live with it and hope to grow old with age or that they will finally get it right with the 992 GT3!
P.S. My GT4 also had no rattles. Why cant they build the 991 like that?

Builds pretty good by all accounts.
But the paints poor imo.
In all seriousness my golfs a better can than any of my porkers.
Is what it is.
My Golf in drag, Seat Leon ST 1.6 TDI is the best car i have ever owned for its intended purpose. 4 years old 50k miles and not a rattle in sightBut the paints poor imo.

I had a Leon Cupar back in the day and that felt solid too with zero rattles.

Extended leather to dash and doors tends to muffle any rattles.
Seriously not had any issues in terms of rattles with both generations of 991 GT3, GT4 or Spyder.
The only slight noise is the odd cage ping.

I’m actually going to make a video and send it to Porsche and see what they say .

Just to clarify this is not an issue on all roads,it is non existent on a decent road, but on those roads with very textured surfaces it becomes an issue.
I have only had 2 Porsche cars - both lowly 981 CGTS. The first one had a lot of rattles from the dash and door card. The current one is 99% rattle free. The big plus for me with Porsche is that they actually have pride in their product unlike other brands (Audi) of the same group. Reading OPC took the car in and dealt with the issue. The fact they recognised it as a problem made all the difference. I had numerous rattles with various RS cars. Those shysters could not have cared any less.
So from my experience - they'll fix them.

Car had rattle when I first got it ,opc took it in and said they fixed it but I think them messing with the car has caused more issues. The big plus for me with Porsche is that they actually have pride in their product unlike other brands (Audi) of the same group.
