Porsche Car Connect - Adding another car

Can you add a second car to the Car Connect app? There doesn't seem to be anything in the menus etc. within the app for adding an additional car. I haven't picked the car up yet, but I'm interested to know how that works.

You can have more than one car...think you do it online through “My Porsche” Can’t remember to be honest but think that’s how you do it.

to the right a Add new Vehicle box .....

If however you have already selected existing vehicle , scroll down ( past the add secondary user box ... the one with the two grinning idiots , one who is using her mobile while in drive seat )
there is a second "Add Another vehicle " tab almost at bottom of page

Got to be said, their web page must have been designed by the same sadists who designed "SAP" ERP system I have been tortured with at work for nearly 20 years . Brings new meaning to ...poor workflow

We might be talking about different things? I've already added the vehicle to 'My Porsche'. Their naming convention for their services is pretty confusing. One is called Porsche Connect, and the other Porsche Car Connect.

My question was more in relation to Porsche Car Connect (https://pcc.vodafonetelematics.com/cwp/public/welcome.do) and the android app that allows you to see where the car is, mileage, trip data and to get security alerts, set up geo fences etc.

You can definitely see more than one car in the Car Connect App at least on IoS/Apple. So I assume Android is the same...from memory you have to link all the cars to your account through the website first which I thought was My Porsche ? As far as I remember you add a vehicle there and once linked to your account shows up on your App.

Check with your Sales Exec when you pick up the new toy!

Sorry to go a bit off topic guys. Can you activate Porsche Connect on your PCM yourself?

I've only just registered it and have the activation code, with instructions to take it to the dealer.

Thanks, I might be jumping the gun. The car has been added to the Car Connect website, but the car hasn’t been set up yet, I think the code I sent to the OPC needs using to activate the tracker. I’ll also have to pay the tracker subscription too, which I’ll do tomorrow at the OPC.

Update on this. Once the tracker had been setup, and I’d paid the subscription, all I had to do was reset the app, input the activation code again, and the app then recognises both cars. Pretty straight forward really.
