Hi Folks

I've been trying to find out with 100% certainty if I can fit Fuchs 18 inch 8J ET52's to the front of my 996.1 Narrow body?

The car is 2001 996.1 3.4 Narrow body C2 100% bog standard - not lowered. Current wheels are the standard front 18 inch 7.5J ET50 and Rear 10J ET65.

Front tyres are Mich PS4 225 40 ZR18 - Presume I can re-use these on the slightly wider Fuchs?

I understand that due to the different wheel offset 50 vs 52 - I may/will need front wheel re-alignment.

Fuchs website is unhelpful and only states that they can be fitted to 996 models Turbo and C4S.

Will they fit without "issues" and why do Fuchs not state that they can be used on 996.1 C2 Narrow?

Thanks for any help.

Cheers

Matt at Porschacare in Hitchin/Stevenage sourced mine for me... give him a ring, he knows the score, and found them at a good price.

As 8J 52 is standard fitment on a 996.1 GT3 which sits lower than your car I would assume it is fine.

Some useful details here

Thanks IanG1 & richthebike

Also confirmed with Chris and Pete at CG that I won't need new alignment for small change in offset from 50 to 52 on the fronts.
