Has anyone changed the exhaust on a 991.2 GT3? Is Akrapovic the best option? Also an idea on cost?

I’m looking at the GAD Tuning IWS Titanium setup currently. Looks to be great value for money and having seen Stuart’s work at IWS I can be very confident it’ll be amazing quality.

A few people on here have the Sharkwersk bypass which gets rave reviews...JCR also do one which is Titanium as welll as a full Titanium exhaust system I believe. A couple of people have the JCR bypass fitted....I am sure they’ll be along soon.

JCR offer every thing and the lightest options. so you can add and take away when ever you want.

I would look at the TITANIUM VALVED RACE PIPE which saves 42lbs weight.

I just run the Ti bypass as that was the option when I bought, but that's mega alone.

I’ve got the Sharkwerks bypass on my 991.1 gt3 and it’s a great improvement over stock. If I was buying again the JCR equivalent in titanium looks good so I would look at that too.

I have a boxed, unused Sharkwerks bypass pipe, PM me if you're interested.

How do these exhausts effect the warranty?

Depends on your OPC's view on it and your relationship with them...shouldn't in theory impact anything but if there's an engine issue who knows. I reckon you have an argument on your hands. If you have an issue with a front wheel bearing probably fine!

What is 100% is that when you extend the manufacturers warranty you car has to be 100% OEM so you'd need to put the original exhaust back on.

I can vouch for this. South London OPC wouldn’t warranty my Cayenne because it had a Parrot Bluetooth kit fitted! Only when I could evidence that Silverstone had warranted the car for 6/7 years with the Parrot fitted did they take a view.
