I'm about to collect my 991.2 T from Ken at 9e following the latest round of upgrades. The car is now running:

Custom tune by 9e
Full Kline exhaust system including manifolds and 200 cell cats
Tial M660 turbos
Tial upgraded Intercoolers
Tial Intake pipes
Tial Plenum

In stock form, Ken originally measured it at 330 WHP (officially 370 PS). It's now making 580 WHP so around 650PS at 12% loss from the crank to the wheels. Pretty epic for a narrow bodied car with a manual box, it's hitting around the same times as a 991.2 turbo S smile

Further updates to follow once I've collected and put some miles on.

Edit: forgot to add DSCV3 PASM controller with custom maps written by Ken for the T

That Sounds like a very fun sleeper car
I remember somebody in Germany did a 996 GT3 with standard Carrera rear spoiler with high horsepower in Germany ages ago (was for sale in the UK at some point) - always wanted something like this

3D printed Tial intercoolers, must be 50%+ bigger than OEM and without all its plastic fittings

The OEM Plenum (VW part?) is a bit of a shocker compared to the Tial 3D printed one

Very nice indeed and I wish you great joy of the finished car. I quite enjoy wringing my T out - feeling that I could have done with a few more ponies under the boot - makes me feel a bit of a hero. And now you've made me want MORE POWER...

Think I will go down this route. Not sure whether 9e or Lichfield are the ones to go to - my feeling is 9e as I believe they specialise in Porsches. Also whether to go for maximum output or just a reasonable boost - 450 bhp seems a good figure.

Ken at 9e is a great guy to work with, I always find him conservative and erring on the side of caution, its been me pushing for more and being reined back  You can easily make 500+ safely with just a tune, no exhaust, the car is hobbled from PAG so it doesn't step on the toes of more expensive models.

I’ve also had my manual 911.2 Carrera T upgraded by Ken at 9e
I decided to go with the Klein turbo manifolds and the full titanium akroprovic system
The depth of knowledge is second to none from Ken and his team, it leaves you in no doubt that the work is perfect and safe for your engine
So much so he also did my 718

Please keep us updated on the upgrades
I’m very interested in the intercooler upgrades

It's hard to pin down how much the coolers contribute to the project but has to be good. They're a work of art, 3D printed in aluminium and cleverly designed to fit in the available space, supplied with new fixings and a lot bigger.

I keep looking at it and it’s so so clever and stunning design
Thank you for pushing the boundaries and paving the way for me
Your going to cost me a lot of money lol
Did you upgrade the clutch or is that a case of leave until it’s broken?
You will only need 3rd and 4th gear
Love to meet up and let you compare the two

That's pretty amazing results really and one I suspected was going to happen once they started putting turbos on the lower models.

You have nearly got the same power as my 997.1 turbo which Ken modified last year and on the road its pretty insane, so you will not stop grinning (or changing your pants) for a long time to come!

And mine probably weighs less with RWD so massive grins assured smile. Think I'll be close to 1,400kg with the inconel exhaust and incoming lightweight battery so about 460PS per tonne.

Thanks smile It is a bit addictive when you see what can be done.

Still got the OEM clutch as Ken says its fine so far. I expect it will wear out faster and will be replaced by an upgraded one sooner or later.

Happy to meet up, I should be bringing it to the PH SS at Mini next month.

Just picked her up and had a 3 hour drive home the long way round. It was mostly raining with traffic so didn't have much chance to explore the upper range but I can say it needs some respect! 2nd gear is completely crazy and 3rd/4th feel massively strong.

My car with manual, PCCB, narrow body and inconel exhaust probably weighs 200kg+ less than the 991.2 4WD PDK turbo S so makes it more fun IMHO. Sounds great too with a lot more spool/whistle from the new intakes and turbos.

More to follow once I can do some dry miles but very happy so far smile

That's a massive power increase which must have the boost pressure ramped right up! Let's hope the block, head gasket and cooling system can take it...

It will be interesting to see how it goes, there are a few US cars making more but who knows how sustainable they are. Engine cooling shouldn't be an issue and the intercoolers are massively upgraded, I expect the rods will be the real point of failure but there's no data on how much they'll take, I'm trusting Ken's experience and willingness to stand behind his work.

The clutch will probably give up first but thats easily remedied with a Sachs upgrade.

Hi, all sounds good
Which battery are you thinking?
I initially liked the liteblox but further research led me to antigravity batteries
PH SS ? Is that silverstone?
What brakes do you run? Ken put the girodisc and raybestos set on my 718
My god it’s good, on the track it’s madness what you can get away with

I haven't finally decided on the battery but those are the brands I've been looking at. What made you go Antigravity rather than Lite Blox?

PH SS = PH Sunday Service, meet being held at Mini, Oxford, see Events calendar.

Mine's primarily a road car (my Summer daily), it has PCCB's which are fine for my usage smile
