991 window drop?
Discussion
Hi all, I am looking for a bit of advice.
After standing around for 6 weeks (although connected to a battery maintainer) my 991.1 GT3 decided that she wasn't going to start. The engine turned over strongly, but it wouldn't fire. Porsche assistance turned up, disconnected and reconnected the battery, and she fired up first time! Apparently after standing around for a while the computer can shut down and need a reboot!
Anwyay, since then she has run fantastically, almost as if the reboot actually improved the car (not sure if this is possible or if I am dreaming it - is there some sort of adaptive engine management?) - apart from one thing, the drivers window keeps dropping about half a centimetre. It's possible to put it back up with the window switch, but it's a bit irritating.
Does anyone know if there is a way to reset this? I remember on one of my old Boxsters that you could do something with the window switch and ignition (I think) to reset the "auto drop", but I can't find anything in the manual.
Any help gratefully received.
Thanks
Gary
