Porsche 930 Flatnose Coupe or 911 Carrera Targa

Recently drove these vehicles through Europe with my brother on a 3000 mile road trip from Turkey to UK and while amazed at the amount of attention both received I was surprised at how many admirers preferred the look of the 911 to the much sleeker, exclusive and faster Flatnose.

Nice road trip! Not a big fan of the Flatnose personally and market doesn’t seem particularly smitten with them either (given their rarity they aren’t that expensive)

Had a A2/A1 picture of a black flatnose on my wall for about 10 years in the early 90s so it would get my vote. Unfortunately can't find the picture now.

Total opposite the standard Porsche looks st bloody love that flat nose. it’s one of the only Porsche’s I would buy myself looks gorgeous

While not trying to 'betray' the Targa I have owned for the last 24 years I have to agree that the Flatnose has a presence about it, especially when seen in the flesh

Not normally a fan of the 'flat nose' - I've seen some terrible looking '80s kitsch examples.

But, in that colour and that picture, it looks quite good. However, from that era, still prefer the non-spoilered, narrow-bodied, Coupes.

Growing up always loved the look of the flatnose, think the bad guy in Condor Man had one :-) For me the coolest Porsche. Just love it.
