Does anyone know if/when 992 is available to order PTS?

Or indeed if you have already ordered what have you gone for?

Thx

If it was available, what would you go for?

If you want PTS put an order in specifying the colour. The order goes to the Vehicle Planning team at Porsche GB....they will speak to the factory and come back with when the next batch of PTS cars will be manufactured. Order has to be locked 3 or4 months before it’s made as they order the paint specifically for your car etc.

They may come back and say PTS isn’t available full stop as it’s a new model but that’s how the princess worked for my wife’s PTS Boxster. There are normally two PTS windows a year for each model.

I wouldn’t really rely on your OPC being informed of PTS availability...some will be but it tends to be a question that needs to be asked formally by going through the order process, The communication from the factory to Porsche GB to the OPC’s is pretty rubbish. The vehicle planning team at Porsche GB consists of two people....they are the liaison people for every single new Porsche that’s made...so they have say 400 Porsche sales exec’s (plus Sales Manager and DP’s ) nationally hassling them for updates on cars that are in build/been ordered....not a surprise the info doesn’t get through!

When I ordered my PTS Touring it went along the lines of the above. I ordered the car and asked the dealer to get PTS in case this became available throughout the production window. The dealer shifted my car's production date a few times (first for the Touring option and then IIRC twice for PTS).
