Dry Bush?

Well, the local repair guy has told my wife she has a dry bush, once we worked out he was talking about the squeaking noise from the front o/s of the car, we felt better!

It's a 1998, 996 Carrera with 50k on the clock (correct miles), so not bad for a 22 year old car.

The car runs and drives well, but after a drive with her last week - there is definitely a noise when going over bumpy roads from around the drivers side front foot well area.

Being serious for a minute, any thoughts on what's causing this and what the fix might be please?

Probably the coffin arm or tuning fork. Not massively expensive or complex to change. Probably best to buy in pairs and do both sides.
