joy of joy an oil change is now £1094 up from £895

the cash cow grows bigger horns.

£324 from RPM for a 1st service.

We all pay but FFS we are being ripped off.

I got my Golf Clubby done with a nice loan car and a full inspection for £173.

my older cars will have to come out the network now, it's just not value for money.

every thing is creeping up. where others offer service packs for 5 to 7 years, Porsche have gone the other way.

Yep - there was a thread about this a few weeks ago. Porsche have cynically pulled it.

Poor show.

I had a fixed price quote last week, 6th Feb, £775.00 as under (the OPC's screenshot, not mine)...

I sent this to my usual OPC to match but the DP said he couldn't as they had opted for "menu pricing" this year.
Their quote for identical work was £1,015.57.

Note the fixed price OPC's browser shows "...menupricing..."

As I don't trust the first OPC (they messed up last time) and RPM are under £600 (and I reckon are the best) it's going to RPM.

Fixed pricing still there, just phone around.

It went in December I think, the warranty cost went at the same time. Unless, of course, i just can't find it.

It has - you cannot find the price lists any more.

None of the PRG centres participated in the Fixed Price scheme anyway.

I seriously could not believe this. My mate (the one who sold his 458 spider, for a 488 build slot and then realised he'd made a terrible error) has an 812 arriving next month and was telling me this. Pretty good value for a performance car that.

As for Porsche, I'd always prefer to indie older (non current) stuff anyway. The specialists simply acquire more knowledge and mastery of these machines IMHO.

So was the fixed price quote I had last week, published above, that single OPC's version of fixed pricing and not what would be available from other OPCs who subscribe to fixed price servicing?

The browser suggests the OPC user is using a Porsche GB system (apart from the Volvo tab?).

Not that I'm bothered, but it's useful to play one OPC off against another and if they're all quoting individual rates that makes it more time consuming to do than with what seemed to be two types of costing in the past.

Mine is booked in for May for the 12k 2 year service, they are not in the fixed pricing and quoted me 600.Cant find online what it entails other than oil and filter change, but suspect it will include pollen and air filters or was hoping it would for that price.

Booked mine in at Wolverhampton last week for early May on fixed price scheme..with courtesy car.

It is, still a massive rip off though. After owning two Fezzas I still cough at Porsche servicing prices..

99% sure you have to have OPC service to keep warranty intact ?

You won’t get an air filter lol

My advice is change it every year, Porsche will leave it 4 years.

I'm in the same position.

I have 5 Porsches due for service this year, OPC prices are mental, they have offered a discount, but RPM are still cheaper, just....

It means that my Touring at 2yrs first service won't have an OPC stamp. And It will probably be worthless as no-one will want it in the future!!!

Only problem is RPM have no loan cars (hire at a charge) whilst its in and its a whole day out to organise for me.

Looking at that list from DJMC, £21 + VAT for every 1 litre of oil??

Granted it'll be high quality but they get it in bulk. Bloody hell.....

they are not allowed to do that.

but as it's a £135k car and it's the 1st service I will go OPC but my other cars will have to come out the network now, it's a total rip off.
