What have people been doing about this? Has anyone driven with or without these features. I've just specced one and have left them off as I'm trying to keep the cost down. Any thoughts?

PSE makes it sound better but hard to tell from inside the car and sometimes the popping/banging is a bit unnecessary!

Sport chrono is handy for the drive mode selection wheel. And the 'naughty button'.... biggrin

Not major features really but there you go.

I had a 992 with PSE and definitely not worth the £1844 it costs..It doesn't make the 992 sound better, reduce weight nor add power..The sport chrono is a nice to have but again not worth the £1646 IMO..RAS at least makes the car drive better which neither of the previous two do..

Thanks - these used to be must have options for me but will not bother this time. Helpful advice. I. I’m still slightly nervous about swapping my 991.2 GTS but like a new shiny toy.

Wait for the 992GTS IMO always the pick of the Carrera bunch and shouldn’t be too long now. I still miss my 991.2GTS.

Personally I’d have the sport Chrono pack as it adds active engine mounts and also the steering wheel control for sport, sport plus etc. It’s fiddly to access these from the touchscreen whilst driving imo.

Yes, good advice. Looks like GTS will be soon....

Also, this image is interesting - the rear brake light is transparent which looks better IMO.[url]

Be careful, my mate did the same thing. Surprise surprise the 992 is now sold and he is back in a 991.2 GT3....

There’s no way I’d swap a 991.2 GTS for a 992....wouldn’t even go for a 992 GTS until I’d driven it.

Sorry thought 2010Spy had a GT3 not a GTS
