my bad Chris Hoy, no idea where I picked Will from !
I do mix their names up too on occasion. Will Hoy was, back in the day, when touring cars were a thing, a big name, long before Sir Chris was, so I guess it sticks.Anyway, back on topic, aside from all the "hi guuuuyys" YouTube crap JWW has to put up front to keep the small-minded interested, not a bad video. Raises some decent points. And yes, as he says, when you have a set of front pads in your hands, it's incredible how substantial they are.

Those pads should have been inspected and replaced well before!inspect after every track day or heavy use.

Agreed. I sometimes even go so far as to remove wheels to check the inner pad's not stuck/worn more than the outer (easier to see pad). Check the discs too, obviously. He said £1,800 OPC bill of which £500 was labour/overhead. So £1,300 for pads, fluid, paste etc. all in. In the grand scheme of things that's not too bad really. Hell Pagid RS29 pads alone my 997.1 GT3 would be around £800.

Yep, not a bad video to watch and obviously plenty of car knowledge....but someone needs to show him how pop the towing eye plug by pressing the bottom of it rather than scrabbling around with his finger nails!

TBF mate, that's news to me too, so thank you. Wise words and all that.
