I find his style a tad irritating if I am honest...but would be the 3RS for me. Just prefer the power delivery and sound of a naturally aspirated engine....especially as it is such a rare pleasure these days !

Don’t really understand the pricing of 2 RS’s either. When you think it’s about the same price list as a Speedster I don’t understand why it’s a £50k premium when the Speedster is made in much lower numbers and an almost unique car being the only one with a GT engine. Suspect if the Speedster was launched when 2 RS was and vice versa the Speedster would be the one with the premium.

Painful watch really.

GT2 RS is immense... but the GT3 RS is the standard bearer of Porsche Motorsport in a street legal package.

A choice of only one of the two... it would be 3RS.

I didn't even bother watching it. As soon as I saw the doughnuts at the start I turned it off as it tells me his opinion is worth cock all.

didn't click on the link but if we are talking 991 I would want the 2 RS, if 997 then the 3 RS (Gen 2, 3.8 would do nicely). Not sure why, but somehow the 991 3 RS does not have the same "want" factor as the older ones - I suspect it is because if I don't have the option of a manual anyway, then I'd rather be in a Speciale, Performante, 600LT etc.

On the comment of value of Speedster vs 2RS, I actually think the latter might have a bit more engineering to it which could justify the premium over the Speedster in the current market. I I know the Speedster required special parts too. But after two years of ownership of the 2RS, each time I drive it, I marvel at how special this car is and there is a always a little something I notice.

As for 2RS vs. 3RS I own both (.2 and “.3”) and I hope I can keep them both and never have to make a choice to keep one over another. They are both exceptional cars with their own strengths. But the more I drive them and compares them, the more I realise they are hugely different propositions and experiences. I’d say the 3RS makes one with you from the moment you sit in it with a feeling of harmony; whereas the 2RS is a monster which needs to be tamed but the experience of which is unreal. I love them!
