never seen this before dont know this guy etc but interesting perspectives
likes the 991 gt3 for value thinks the 997 gt3 is expensive and 'not that good'
Not quite what he was saying about the 997,he said he loved it ,his 'not that good comment ' was in context of the price they fetch.likes the 991 gt3 for value thinks the 997 gt3 is expensive and 'not that good'

what is he saying that upsets you all ? He is right about the availability determining the price ,and he says it's a good time to buy a 991 gt3, not sure how that ruffles some feathers.
Some members of the PH Porsche establishment just don’t like opinions contrary to their own?Digga said:
Totally side steps probably the most crucial issue for earlier cars; the near- term end of the OEM 10 year engine warranty.
Why is that crucial ? When you buy a Ferrari or anything that is ten years or plus older you don’t get such a warranty .Porsche were sufficiently satisfied with the changes they made that they could offer a ten year warranty and I would suggest any car with the issue would have experienced it by now.
If you buy from a dealer you will get whatever warranty they offer anyway .
I don’t see any evidence that buying a gen 1 gt3 is any more of a risk than any other similar aged car.
If you buy from an opc you would get their usual used car warranty wouldn’t you ?

To a lesser degree, strut tower failures might have warranted a mention. less of a worry and easier to spot, but there have been some reports of issues on both 991.1 and 991.2 platforms.
991.1 GT3 is a good car. I think I'd perhaps feel happier with a 991.1 GT3 RS, engine wise. His opinion of the 997 is valid, but sort of misses the point that some people want that sort of car or, indeed, an even older 996 GT3. None of these cars are going to be all things to all men.

I'm happy to concede I've not watched this particular video, purely because I've watched plenty of others he's had the temerity to foist upon the unsuspecting motoring enthusiasts on YT, and as AV rightly pointed out, this particular presenter all too often serves up huge amounts of verbal diarrhea with a large side order of pomposity that borders on the cringeworthy. Best avoided in my very humble opinion.
