That’ll do really well I am sure assuming history is good. If I had a car like this to sell I’d be going to Collecting Cars rather than SoR. Reckon you get a very similar outcome and the car never leaves your garage until it’s paid fo (as I think Footsoldier pointed out when he sold his R8).
Something doesn’t look right with this car, front bumper is missing it’s stickers and there looks to be paint or filler on the side of the centre console. If you were selling a car of that value you would at least buy some stickers and get the paint / filler off the interior trim.
And why on earth paint the mirrors and spoiler end trims, they could of restored these parts if faded.
At 121k plus fees, anyone buying that would need to get a full detailed inspection first imo.
I remember this selling after it had sat in my local OPC for daft money for ages.

These 996 gt3rs cars need to be perfect with perfect history to get good money.

Hammer price of £83,375 seems cheap, no?And why on earth paint the mirrors and spoiler end trims, they could of restored these parts if faded.

That’s a tad scruffy in my view.
Hard to tell from the pics, could be mint, but If it's the Sutherland car interesting it's had new pads and discs. I wonder if it's an error in the advert and just had pads... or swapped out the ceramics to steel? Anyhow.. not an issue if it's been used as intended, can't imagine any 996RS's haven't been spanked on track. Nothing against JZM but would prefer an OPC full service history - but that's just my OCD.I said 117 and I'm sticking to £117k + fees (Maximum). After more thought I'm hesitant to drop it to 113-115k+ though

I guess it sold for what people thought it was worth as the time.
It does seem like the car is missing the ceramics. It’s not a huge bother to someone who intends to use the car but I’d prefer an RS with them: especially as the RS was the lightweight/racier version.
That said, I’m not a buyer of any 996 GT3 RS at £100k+ (but that’s a whole other story). The car will probably go for mega money, lots of Porsche’s seem to be doing well on CC despite what’s going on.
ETA: just checked the MOT history - only 2008, 2010 and 2019 show up meaning it’s been in storage/off the road and potentially not serviced?

Ceramics on a 996 would be more of a liability, they have a very short shelf life and the pedal feel is dreadful. It does look like it may have a few holes in the MOT history, but if the service history stacked up it wouldn't bother me, they are tough as old boots and one of the last great drivers cars imo. That said, I’m not a buyer of any 996 GT3 RS at £100k+ (but that’s a whole other story). So it's going to interesting at the least, very mixed views here.
the values in these cars are only applicable if they have no (or rather no 'obvious') stories, and frankly i'd want perfection for £100k plus. quite what is going on with the mirrors and spoiler end plates, but faded carbon is easily rectified. there are other cars on the market currently that are perfect for not a lot more than some people expect this car to make. from specialists with reputation to protect, and warranties/reassurance for the buyers. but some of the prices paid on CC seem to beggar belief, so who knows. well, whoever is going to bid and buy this car surely has to buy this also.
