991.2 reverse camera

Hi there,

Can anyone offer advise on retro fitting reverse camera to a GT3 RS? I am currently looking at an option by Autologics but can’t find much else.

If this is the Autologics from Knutsford, Cheshire way, they've fitted a couple of reversing cameras for me, but to a BMW and Merc, not a Porsche. Did a top job on both occasions, and they came to my home in Staffordshire to fit them, they seem a very professional outfit.

Hi there,

I had one fitted to a 991.2 Targa.

A NAV TV Unit.

My experience has been over 2 years...
- The sony camera suffered water ingress and was replaced under warranty.
- The Nav TV unit, fitted behind the PCM unit also failed. It intermittently stopped invoking the camera feed. I replaced that myself. Very easy to do.

And a completely OEM experience and look (including reversing lines).

Despite my experience, i would do it again.

It is a bumper off job. Cable to behind PCM. Box behind OEM.
