Hello All,

I have a 2004 996 GT3 fitted with H&R Coilovers and would like some advice on front anti roll bar drop link options.

Porsche have quoted £283 EACH...

There are some cheaper alternatives such as Lemforder (part num 632900495) but the ball joint end is to fat to fit the gap (in the images marked in red by an arrow) and wont fit on the inside of the bracket. I could fit them to the outside of the bracket but then get a bit of binding on full lock against one of the coolant pipes (not too much but a bit).

So wondered if anyone had some experience / advice on this?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Regards,

Rob

Try looking at fitting the 997.1 GT3 droplinks. They bolt directly to the upright & might solve your clearance problem. ISTR that they may need shortening & re-welding but they can be made to fit. Cheap too.

Thanks for the suggestion nxi.

Have decided to go with a set of adjustable drop links which bolt directly to the upright. Also means i can make sure there is no pre-load on them when fitting. Apparently alot of GT3 CUP cars run with this setup.
