Wondered what people think they will cost? I take it that release date is now likely Spring 2021 (Geneva if it wasn’t cancelled!)?

I understand that Geneva (GIMS) folded after last year’s cancellation, and not known if it will ever return. Certainly not happening in 2021, which gives Porsche more flexibility for a virtual launch.

Prices can probably be guesstimated from the other 991/992 models.

I really don’t see it being as sought after as past GTs.

The basic prices of GT3's have always been quite keen, If I remember my last 991.2 GT3 was around £111k, I ended up at £133 plus £2k reg fees!

The 992 GT3, by the time it arrives for uk buyers will *probably* have a 10% import brexit fee added to it, and I GUESS that the basic list will be £120ish plus the 10% so £130ish, plus.

So with added options, it will be heading towards the OTR £150k mark for most specced cars.

I guess it will be a great car on the track and road, but most probably so full of driver tech and EU legislation tech, that it may well be not be a really great drivers car.. But, the younger generation of playstation gamers will love it...

From what my local OPC was saying last week, they are expecting a 10% increase on the 991.2 GT3, with PCCBs, buckets & lift , maybe no deal Brexit tax, could see cars circa £150,000. Will make a lightly used 991.2 GT3s an attractive proposition at £125,000. Probably too much tech in the 992GT3 if the base 992C2S is anything to go by.

If the GT inspired 992 Turbo S is anything to go on. The 992 Gt3 will be spectacular to drive.

One other consideration on price might be if Porsche will continue to underprice GT cars as a selling tool - guess that will depend on attractivity of the overall market going forward.
If they pass on FX / align prices with Germany, then it will go up a lot as I think base price was c 155k euros in Germany for the 991.2

I just hope all the 992-haters out there don't want them, so the odds of me ever getting one increases marginally. I want one, to drive it (but not track it), but will not pay overs to anyone smile

£130ish would be nice and worth a peek, can't see I'd need to add a lot to it if it comes as well specced as the base 992 does.

As others have said, it depends what extra driver aids have gone into the car.

It will be a step forward, Porsche have to post faster laptime and it will yet again have a wider front track, (which is a joke)

the GT4 RS is where it's at imo as they put the engine in the right place so no need to keep trying to make the GT3's weight forward every model :-)
911's are odd cars where they widen front track EVERY model and bring the engine forward every model !!!
why did they not do this 20 years ago ? even the RSR is a Cayman !

Due to the pandemic everything has been pushed back. Expectation is a 2021 reveal and 2022 deliveries.
