I just wondered if anyone on here knows this car- ie: any history worth knowing?
What would be a fair price for the car?

Know nothing about the car but at a dealer that would probably be just over £130k currently....from what has been said on here Manual Clubsport with all the right options aren’t easy to find at the moment so might get close to that. Only option it doesn’t have is interior leather on dash and doors etc. Lots of people will say they don’t care about it but most people spec it and most buyers want it.

Agree about the colour and it is also quite rare another plus point.
Also think the interior leather makes a big difference to the ambiance of the car and its a box I would always tick.

Trade around £110-115k I reckon which is what you want pay at auction .

I would normally agree, but at this moment in time - summer weather, people with time on their hands, and many of the covid issues yet to bite - CC’s lots seem to be getting good bids, certainly over trade. And, even when the buyer has to add a ‘buyer’s premium’.
Risky, but you only need a couple of bidders who really want it, to take it to a higher level.

Yep this is my old car. I bought it from JZM who arranged the deal with Jon Wheatley. I then lent it to Dino Zamparelli who used it for the whole summer of 2018 as I was his sponsor in Carrera Cup GB that year and at end of season I gave it back to JZM who sold it I think for around £145k in November 2018. I don't think it's done many miles since I sold it, maybe 1500. I tracked it once at Donington, maybe 20 laps to compare to my 991.1 RS and Dino never took it on track. Pretty sure Jon Wheatley never tracked it either. It's a lovely colour and if price is right someone will be happy I'm sure.

Lovely looking colour that. Almost Crayon , but not quite.

I think this will fetch strong money in the current climate. Over rev report essential and a bit annoying the harnesses are not fitted as that is a PITA to do. I think if someone wants it that badly they will overlook the poverty spec dashboard.

Yes but as Koln RS says it will probably go higher. Still under warranty which does remove some of the auction risk.

Was looking for a Graphite PDK with a leather dash for months and couldn't get one. Anyone know what the Cups depth are new on N rated, I know BM ones are 5.7 mills. Them tyres cannot be the originals if 6 mills still on them. If the car hasn't been tracked id take with a pinch of salt that the pads have worn by 10 per cent, the discs don't look like they have as no transfer on them.

Edit

Tyres are the originals as week 31 17

We'll I think you have to be careful as the CC ad clearly states ”No Trackdays" ..... Which flies in the face of the previous owner post above. If they have used poetic licence on this fact, what else have they embellished ??? #justsayin

They shouldn’t make categorical statements unless they are 100% accurate. I doubt a previous owner is going to make a statement like that on a forum and tell them something different !

Read the details again as that's not what they say.

Why limit the buy to trade price when you can save £20k ?

This is where CC is winning, sellers are getting more than trade and buyers are buying less then retail, it’s a great platform.

Yes- the auction description says the current owner has never tracked the car....

Unfortunately the Collecting Cars site has become so well known the ship seems to have sailed for bargains.....
Someone paid £6k plus fees at a DVLA auction for 911 TA registration- only 6 months ago.
Yesterday Collecting Cars sold it for £12k + !!

Def no bargains as a lot of cars are being bought by the trade !
Hence you will never get a car under trade value now.

You have to out bid the traders and hope to save £5k/£10k off retail.

Most reserves will be set at trade price now, other wise just sell it to the trade.
