So occasionally upon turning the key i get just a single click noise, upon repeating this might happen again but then it will start.
Battery is fully charged and the issue can happen either from a cold start or from hot.

Any idea's

Thanks in advance

Could be the ignition switch. I had an issue which sounds similar and my indy replaced it. No problems since.

I also had the issue - the specialist I used told me it was the starter, and quite common. Told me there was no need to change the starter as they do not just fail (seem to recall them saying it gets worse, rather than just stops working), but as I liked to keep the car tip-top I had it changed, and the problem was solved.

I had this, new ignition switch sorted it cheap and quick
If it doesn't want to start only when it's hot & turns over lazily that's the alternator cable(s)
