Intrigued to know... I’ve just got a new place with a garage, but the door space is toight (like a toiger) and I’m umming about builders sorting it out.

It’s spent 6 years on a street in East London getting royally knocked about so think it might be time to start tucking it up.

I had one new in 2000 and parked it on the road in a nice area of SW London. Never had any problems. It’s one of the joys of the 911 - the shape is so familiar that for a car with that performance it attracts relatively little attention.

Garage - essential.

Carbon fibre and rubber all degrade if left in the sun all day. My garage too is tight. Reversed in against the wall and about a foot space to get out. Opening the window makes it easier to extricate yourself.

London street - although it's a quiet cul-de-sac.

Its clearly been extensively garaged as the underside is immaculate so I do feel a bit bad and will try and get it undercover at some point.

Mines in the garage although I did have the luxury of building it big enough to easily fit the Porsche and my RSV.

Mine's been parked on the streets of notting hill for a few years.
We'll be closing on a home in the countryside with a double garage next week, so it will finaly have the space it deserves; can't wait!

In a shipping container about 10 miles from my house yet on the way home from work. Sitting next to two other containers with my other cars.

Mine is kept in a garage. I have to fold the mirrors in and park is as close as possible to the passenger side so I can open the driver side door (nailed some old carpet to the garage wall in case of carelessness!).

Mine is on the road (B road on outskirts of town/village) at present.
Plan is to smooth the slope at the bottom of the drive, fit roller shutters with recessed runners to the garage door, and semi-retire the 996 to occasional use/get something electric to compliment it next year. Then it'll go in the garage.
