Where do you park your 996?
Discussion
On the road?
On the drive?
In a garage?
Intrigued to know... I’ve just got a new place with a garage, but the door space is toight (like a toiger) and I’m umming about builders sorting it out.
It’s spent 6 years on a street in East London getting royally knocked about so think it might be time to start tucking it up.

I had one new in 2000 and parked it on the road in a nice area of SW London. Never had any problems. It’s one of the joys of the 911 - the shape is so familiar that for a car with that performance it attracts relatively little attention. On the drive?

Mine is on the road (B road on outskirts of town/village) at present.
Plan is to smooth the slope at the bottom of the drive, fit roller shutters with recessed runners to the garage door, and semi-retire the 996 to occasional use/get something electric to compliment it next year. Then it'll go in the garage.
